"The best Indian food we've ever had"

We've been to the restaurant twice so far and the food is always wonderful. Every single choice on the buffet was a hit and we enjoyed our dining experience immensely.
One point to take into consideration is the temperature of restaurant, it's really Hot! And when you're eating spicy Indian food, the last thing you want is to be in such a hot room, so please lower down the heat :)
Other than that, we have nohing but good thoughts about La Porte Des Indes. Keep up the good work.

The price for the buffet menu is much too expensive for the quality of the food served.
Temperature was too hot in the restaurant. Nice decoration but he primary reason I go to a restaurant is for the food.

We hebben hier zeer lekker gegeten ! De schotels met een mix van voorgerechten en een mix van hoofdgerechten is een aanrader. En dat zowel voor de vegetarische als niet vegetarische gerechten. De bediening is zeer vriendelijk - bij de meeste personeelsleden toch. Het is zeker niet goedkoop, maar zijn geld wel waard !

"Good Ambience - Overpriced"

Arrived on a Friday night and liked how they receive you on the ground floor, check your coat, and then lead you to the dining room. Ambience was nice and the place was really full.
Unfortunately, I was a bit surprised at the prices as the food was good Indian food, but it wasn't amazing. We used a resto pass and after the 30% discount I still think the restaurant was overpriced. My wife and I were trying to figure out if the rent was expensive, or what the deal was. For example, I've had a good amount of Mango Lassi in my day, but unfortunately this restaurant had the worst I've ever had, and it was the most expensive and smallest portion.
Food good, but better prices elsewhere...

Venus en famille pour fêter un anniversaire, nous avons été passablement déçus de ne pas avoir retrouvé la qualité exceptionnelle des mets et du service (attention et chaleur) qui nous avaient enchantés à plusieurs reprises il y a une bonne dizaine d'années.
Etait-ce dû à la formule "buffet" (qui, par ailleurs, est une bonne idée en soit) ou à un changement d'exploitants ?
Dommage !

Nearly 200 eur for 4, and to be honnest was expecting soemthing more from this place which is supposedly so highly-rated. Did not accept check-repas which is not normal for such a restaurant.
Service is good and friendly. Food good but not 'outstanding'

Bel établissement, bonne cuisine, prix un peu surfaits mais la formule buffet du samedi soir à 40 euros est très bien.
Des vins à partir de 20 euros mais ça peut monter assez vite et assez haut.
Le service est loin d'être sans reproche mais bon.... En particulier la dame de la réception ce samedi 12-11 devait être stressée. Les serveurs ne sont pas toujours présent et passent plu de temps à discuter entre eux qu'à s'occuper des clients.... dommage.
Mais dans l'ensemble c'est plutôt bien.

Nous avions déjà beaucoup mieux mangé dans ce resto. Le choix pour les entrées présentées n'était pas terribles et les portions du plat principal étaient vraiment insuffisantes. et le dessert : riz au lait !!
Donc très déçus, nous avions pris un apéro et avons eu un montant de 180 euros pour 4.

Accueil, service, qualité de la cuisine de très bon niveau. Nourriture très raffinée; quantité du plat principal suffisante mais pourrait être un rien trop peu pour plus "grands" mangeurs. Outre le prix du menu Restodays tout à fait abordable, les extras (boissons) n'en demeurent pas moins assez chers mais l'on ne reste, au bout du compte, ni sur sa faim, ni sur sa soif, vu la qualité et le soin que ce restaurant offre à ses hôtes. Une excellente soirée et confirmation que ce restaurant vaut vraiment le détour.
